Your crew already knows how.
The commercial argument for a new cladding material collapses if it needs a new trade. This one does not: if a crew can hang fibre cement, they can hang this, on the same day, with what is already in the truck.
Four steps, none of them new.
- 01
Cut
A standard circular saw with a fibre-cement blade. No wet saw, no diamond blade, no special extraction beyond the dust control you already run.
- 02
Fasten
Siding nails or screws on the same schedule you use for fibre cement lap. Blind-nail the lap, face-fasten the panel.
- 03
Detail
Conventional flashing, trim and rainscreen furring. The panel replaces the cladding layer only — everything behind it stays as your detail already draws it.
- 04
Finish
The natural off-white face can be left as-is, stained or painted. There is no factory colour to touch up at cuts.
It replaces one layer.
LexPanel is the exterior skin and nothing more. Rainscreen furring, weather-resistive barrier, sheathing, framing and interior gypsum all stay exactly where your assembly already puts them.
What the panel is
Diatomaceous earth, an inorganic binder, and what that actually means on a wall.
